Hold on

Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?” (Job 2:10b)

Many bad things happen to good people. We wonder why. We don’t have the answers. So do we contemplate like Job, thinking it’s from God? Whatever our reasoning we hold fast onto God that do not change. We know that he will carry us through even if we lost everything. If it is our role to console friends in difficult circumstances, we may sit with them in silence like Job’s friends instead of saying foolish things. We trust in God’s unfailing power and place our hope in the plans that God have for us.
