Victory over the enemy

on December 29, 2011

I have experience a lack of sleep over a number of weeks. I have realised by means of my intercessors that I have been tormented by wandering spirits. A spirit of a homeless man have somehow entered my home and causing me sleepless nights. I believe that the intent was not to harm me but that he entered due to loneliness. Be that as it may I could not sleep for he used all sorts of tricks to keep me awake. I had to put it to a stop but by the time I realised this I was weak, exhausted and scared.
My dreams were also full of dead people. I believe that the presence of one attracted many others who are opportunistic in nature. My nights were restless and tiring. I became more depressed and irritable by the day. Nothing seems to help- not even sleeping tablets.
This was until the night that I decided that I had enough. I decided to take my life back. When I sense the presence of my visitor- the restless homeless spirit- I decided to fight back. I spoke the scriptures of binding over him and all other wandering unwelcome guests and asked God to take them back to the valley of death where they belong.
I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be[a] bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be[b] loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 16:19 (NIV))
I bind these spirits and cast them out of my home. I spoke life and light into my home and over my family. I spoke these scripture out loud at two o’clock the morning. I also switch on the TV and repeat the scriptures as pastors were preaching on TBN.
And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. (Genesis 1:3 (NIV))
I know where life and light are darkness have no place. I took back what darkness wants to stole from me. I have victory today over whatever wants to steal my joy, my sleep and my life. It took some time for me to stand my ground but I praise the Lord that I am standing my ground. I took courage in scripture.

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
I want to encourage you today. Be of good cheer for we in Christ have overcome the world.
