Expecting Christ

on December 23, 2011

Some of us are expecting Christ but others are not. Isaiah 33:11 talks about conceiving chaff and bring forth straw.

You conceive chaff, you give birth to straw;
your breath is a fire that consumes you. Isaiah 33:11
What is tis scripture talking about? I believe it talks about what we carry within and with us. We sometimes carry resentment and unforgiveness relating to people with us. We carry this longer than the time that it take to carry a baby. We carry these burdens for a long time, which is unnecessary but we cling to it. We can leave our burdens to the Lord – for his yoke is easy and his burden is light.
For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:30

Others carry burdens of sickness and poverty in body and Spirit. Some carry burdens of financial need, lost sons or daughters and broken marriages.
The Look wants us to make an end to all these ” unhealthy pregnancies” [ what we conceive or carry] and to deliver these unwanted pregnancies. We need to start a process of expecting Christ. Expect a Christ that brings light to the world and brings life to you life of burdens.
In Luke 1 30: 31 it is written
But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favour with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus.

This is the time of expectation or pregnancy; we expect Christ. We should expect Christ will in our lives and hearts.
It is a time of visitation:
• You will receive visits from angels and family

It is good to visit family because you bless each other. Elizabeth and Mary were blessed because of their visit together. (Read Luke Chapter 1).
• You will become alive by the spirit.
John jumped in Elizabeth’s womb when Mary visited them. We, when touched or being in the presence of the Lord will jump with life, jump with joy, jump with excitement.
• The deaf and mute will be healed.
When Zachariah receive a message by the angels that he will have a son, he did not believe and therefore became mute. On the day of John’s birth he spoke again. This is therefore a time when the Lord wants to heal our spiritual and spiritual hearing and speaking as well as our physical speaking and hearing. I therefore declare restoration for the deaf and the mute in Jesus name Amen.
• It is the time of gathering the sheep.
It is written that Shepherds made haste to gather their sheep. The shepherds’ or leaders of the body of Christ will during this time bring in the sheep, which are the lost souls. We thank you Lord for Leaders who are obedient and who go out into the world in power and authority to bring in the sheep who are your lost souls, Amen.

The Lord is sending visitors from the heavenlies to all of us. All we have to do is to keep your door open and to enjoy the blessings of Christmas.

Have a blessed time, a time of jumping for joy. Amen.
